Garrard 401 with Bubinga

This was a CLD (constrained layer damping) plinth done with 18mm Birch plywood and a 22mm MDF base. The plinth was wrapped with fine cuts of Bubinga. The armboard was also Bubinga and was designed to be removable and have the capability to add either a 9 inch or a 12 inch tonearm. A second tonearm position was added for a Rega mount type arm. The plinth was finished in a satin poly-wax finish. A custom dustcover was manufactured for the table.
