I am selling an excellent condition Technics SL1600 MkII turntable. The 1600 is from the same family as the legendary Technics SL1200 MkII. It shares the same tonearm and drive system. The SL1600 MkII however is a full automatic turntable with one touch start and auto-return. We have fully serviced and calibrated this turntable. The SL-1600 mk2 combines quartz phase locked speed accuracy with high torque and near instantaneous start-up. Quick stops are also provided by an electronic braking system. Pitch is adjustable within a range of +-6%, totally under quartz control. With the exception of the pitch control, all front panel controls are soft-touch switches.
